FRIDAY SET | NATALIA ROSE

Natalia Rose is a contemporary jazz quartet led by guitarist Natalia Rose. The band currently consists of Omri Abramov (tenor and soprano saxophone), Nicolas Buvat (double bass) and Max Simancas (drums). The music has a descriptive intention that aims to develop extra-musical ideas in the listener. The first recording is called Retratos de un Juego de Sombras and was released in April 2017. This album is inspired by some photographs by Colombian photographer Camila Malaver that show the daily life of the communities in Barranco de Loba, Bolivar, Colombia. The group Natalia Rose was founded in September 2016 and recorded their first album at the end of the year. Impresiones, the second album, was released in September this year. Natalia Rose has played at various festivals, such as: Festival de Música Bolón de Verde 2018, Festival Masai 2018, Festival de Jazz y Blues de la Libélula Dorada 2019, Barranquijazz 2019, Jazz Al Parque 2019, VillaJazz Fest 2020. In 2022 they have played in different cities in Europe to promote their album Impresiones.
