AfriConn Band - It's an international band created in 2019 by Thomas Hodgson, who is a singer and performer from the Caribbean.

The band aims to combine African and Caribbean rhythms to create music that delivers positive messages of solidarity and joy in a spirit of constant cultural exchange and openness.

The band is composed of various talented musicians from around the world, who all bring their personal touch to the compositions performed by the band.

AfriConn abbreviation stands for "Afro-Caribbean Connection", an unstoppable beat of music, color, and human energy from both sides of the Atlantic that brings people together and makes us one.

Pucho Diaz est un chanteur, compositeur et interprète autodidacte né à La Havane, il a fait ses premiers pas sur scène avec sa guitare dans le mouvement cubain appelé Nueva Trova, puis il se construit une base technique solide au conservatoire. Il a fondé plusieurs groupes dans sa ville natale qu'ont eu des grands succès.

Pucho part alors à l'aventure à travers l'Europe. Il a d'abord passé quelques années à Barcelone avant de finir à Bruxelles

Tandis qu'il s'intègre dans divers projets musicaux, sa musique est le résultat de ces diverses influences et est très particulière, ses textes élaborés apportent profondeur, humour et esprit festif.
