JAM JAZZ | SH GROUP

The SH Group, formed in 2017 at the Chalon-sur-Saône Conservatory, finds its roots in the Jazz By Three Trio. Composed of Sébastien Hugue, Victor Prost and Tom Juvigny, the group expanded by integrating saxophonist Pierre Girard and trumpeter Samuel André, thus becoming a quintet. Despite personnel changes, the SH Group favors beautiful and simple music, inspired by rock, jazz and pop, focused on the vibration of sounds and attitude in performance, creating a feeling of openness and community. In 2019, he accompanied the Pierre Durand Quartet on a tour in Burgundy Franche-Comté, and since then, he has performed regularly in the region. Their first EP was released in March 2020.
